About the blog

My blog was started to discuss the situation in the world from an international political perspective and to tell it in a way that the common media seldom does. Focus will be concentrated on world politics, armed conflicts and other international society and development issues, which will be discussed through debates and analyses as well as through causeries and satires.

I will try to tell what is happening in the world’s armed conflicts without censorship, without filter, and some of the articles will be based on my own experiences from war-affected countries. I never have to consider nervous editors but can deliver facts as I see them. I certainly don’t have any definite truths, such probably don’t exist, but the blog is there to incite discussion and debate. Since our world is the way it is, outspoken people are needed, and I will try to be such a voice. Among others, I have been inspired by rebellious journalists such as Robert Fisk and the brave war correspondent Aidan Hartley, perhaps the only western reporter to witness the Rwandan genocide in 1994.

The main objective is to strictly criticize the forces that commit enormities, that murder and batten, or in other ways damage their societies and thus creating grave human suffering. I will do this without taking into account which side these elements represent, which ethnic group, religion or culture they belong to. Consequently, the US can be scrutinized as eagerly as can Burma or Iran, completely depending on their actions and nothing else.

  1. A motivating discussion is worth comment. I do believe that you ought
to publish more on this issue, it might not be a taboo
matter but generally folks don’t speak about these topics. To the next! Kind regards!!
